After reading the "south station Party", I always think of Khrushchev.

It's not enough to be the best in the year. As the only director of China's three major film festivals in the past ten years, this director Diao Yinan has not disappointed us. The film is further stylized on the basis of the "white day fireworks". Because of the increase in investment, the film is richer in aesthetics than in the past. Mopping up all the "boring rules" of the film, this is a vigorous movie. If there is a United Nations Conference in the movie, then the gathering of the southern station is the one who suddenly rises on the crowded agenda and takes off his shoes and knocks on the table.

Of course, a strong personality will naturally have a tendency to play with tickets. Diao Yinan added a large number of personal identification and props, music and linear story beyond the insertion scene for the movie - the bottle girl, zoo, song which is obviously not in tune with the 09 years. They may be called self talk by the audience. After all, slippers hitting the table is not a proper expression acceptable to everyone. Moreover, we have not considered the strength of a movie director's self expression as a standard to measure the quality of a movie for a long time.

From the hotel underground fight to the hotel room, the simple and simple cruelty in the "white day fireworks" has become a kind of heavy metal aesthetics; in the play of the beach tent, the front curtain figures and the background sketch create a different atmosphere; the protagonist Zhou TSE lung's healing in the abandoned house, the quick switch of the background sound points to the memories and past of the characters. Directing ability and self will have been shown in these rich movie languages.

But a person with strong character and too many faces is not always a good thing. There are a large number of paragraphs in the movie which are different from each other in style. Expressionism in the paragraphs pursued in the zoo, and male and heroine speck on the dark lake beach to guess the stillness and tranquility of the distant mountain lamps, cooperate with the stage drama quality of dancing square dance with light shoes, Diao Yinan constantly add new elements in the movie, just like Khrushchev's changeable and inconsolid, and like a dish with too rich taste, so that the movie and the audience are a bit indigestion.

In the story, the meeting of the southern station corresponds to Khrushchev's black and white sides. The film retells a "Zhou Kehua" story from the perspective of a criminal suspect. The protagonist in the movie: Zhou Zenong, the mortal mortal who is besieged by the Internet, and the love girl who is at the bottom of the insult and damage, they are all tiny characters in the big era, and will finally face the final fate.

The movie also uses black humor to dispel the atmosphere of killing, which makes the overall temperament of the story constantly shifting. The audience must make difficult choices in laughing and silence, and don't know whether to label it with black or white. Just like Khrushchev folded up in front of his tombstone and faced him, people would love and hate each other.

At the same time, the movie did not give a clear choice between the group and the protagonist. We can see that the film is trying to create a social group image. In each scene, there are a large number of "masses". They splash water, ride motorcycles and make popcorn. They are stall vendors, residents' mothers, and those who are outside the whole relationship between the police and the robbers. In general, genre films will never give so many scenes to the masses that they need a very lengthy list to write down the names of these people. However, too much presentation of the group image also weakens the audience's attention to the protagonist. In order to display a large number of relations between characters, the director gave up the way of using character close-up and positive and negative play, which made us have a great discount on the empathy ability of movies. Without the core person to fix the viewpoint, the audience will be more vague about the actors who have not expressed much space, and their performances and play points.

If the gathering of the Southern Station really finds a new way out for today's film themes and aesthetics in China, it may only be remembered, but it will not be appreciated. Like Khrushchev's tombstone, there are few pedestrians standing in the new cemetery. Behind the glory, pride and horror, there is a loneliness.
