Details of market research samples

The sample of the survey was purchased by the staff of Foshan Foshan TV station as an ordinary consumer, buying 10 brands from Foshan's physical shops and online platforms. The sample price ranges from 179 yuan / piece to 901 yuan / piece, basically covering the market main selling down clothing products. Sample details are shown in Table 1. The brands mentioned below are limited to the test numbers listed in Table 1, and do not represent the quality of the products in other batches of the brand.

This market survey has selected several indicators closely related to the thermal insulation, beauty and down quality of down garments, and the test items and basis are shown in Table 2.

10 samples of down garments were tested, and 6 samples were all up to the standard requirements. 4 of them were not up to standard requirements for filling, fluffiness and cleanliness respectively, as shown in Table 3.

1) the "YISHION" brand "men's Woven down jacket" produced by the Dongguan YISHION Group Limited does not meet the requirements. The product has a nominal filling capacity of 116 grams, and the actual measurement is only 106 grams, which is lower than the "5%" requirement of the standard filling.

2) the "down jacket" of the "Baleno/ Baleno" brand, which is called "Guang Zhou Friendship Baleno Company Limited", does not meet the requirements. The product has a nominal filling capacity of 249 grams, and the actual measurement is only 221 grams, which is lower than the "5%" requirement of the standard filling.

3) the "D3 light and medium length down garment" of the "hotwind/ hot wind" brand, which is called "hot wind Investment Limited", does not meet the requirements. The fluffiness of the product is measured at 12.1cm, which is lower than that of the standard bulky degree of 14.0cm.

4) the "down jacket" of the "THE NORTH FACE (North)" brand manufactured by "Yuan Han Clothing Co., Ltd." does not meet the requirements. The product has a nominal filling capacity of 154 grams, and the actual measurement is only 142 grams, which is lower than the "5%" standard of the standard filling. 　 2.2 filling capacity

The down weight of a down garment refers to the weight of all down garments filled with a down garment, and the amount of filling will directly affect the thermal insulation of the down jacket. The higher the filling capacity, the better the warmth retention effect. In the 10 products, the nominal brand is 3 samples of "Baleno", "THE NORTH FACE" and "YISHION". The measured value of the filling amount is not consistent with the nominal value.

In the 10 samples of the survey, only two names of "hot air" and "UNIQLO" are marked "light" and "light". Light weight down clothing is light and soft, suitable for early winter season, and less filling than ordinary down garments. The specific test results are shown in Figure 3.

Bulkiness is an indicator of the degree of elasticity of feathers and feathers. It refers to the ability of eiderdown to rise naturally after being subjected to pressure. The higher the bulkiness of the down, the better the warmth of the down garment. In this survey, 8 samples were found to be in line with the standard requirements, and 2 did not meet the standard requirements. The specific results are shown in Table 5 and Figure 4. 　 2.5 oxygen consumption and residual fat rate

The oxygen consumption of eiderdown refers to the number of grams of oxygen consumed in 100 grams of down samples, which is a comprehensive indicator of the degree of cleanliness, degree of desiccation and hygiene of feather and down. According to the requirements of the relevant national standards for feather and down, the oxygen consumption of washed down eiderdown must not exceed 10 mg /100 g, the smaller the better. More than that, the eiderdown does not pay attention to the specification in the water washing process, which is likely to cause bacterial reproduction and is harmful to human health.

The residual fat rate is the quality of the washed down feather and the quality of the other fats. It is an important index to evaluate the physical and chemical properties of down products. The high residual fat rate makes the down products smell odour, and undergoes the appearance structure of the down, which makes it easy to break and affect the thermal performance. According to the relevant national standards, the residual fat rate should be less than 1.3%, and the smaller the value, the better.

The oxygen consumption and residual fat rate of the 10 samples of down garments are all up to the standard requirements. The specific results are shown in figures 6 and 7.

2.6 cleanliness

Duvet cleanliness is an important hygienic technical index in the down inspection process. It shows the contents of impurities, dust and free substances in feather, which reflects the cleanliness of feather and down filling, that is, whether the down cleaning is adequate. Wearing down clothing with poor cleanliness may cause human allergy and even cause asthma.

The relevant standards of the state stipulate that the cleanliness of the down garment is equal to or above 450mm. This comparative test shows that the "THE NORTH FACE (North)" brand produced by the nominal manufacturer is "230mm" which does not meet the standard requirements. The remaining 9 samples were up to standard and 1 cleanliness was 970mm. The specific test results are shown in Figure 8.

Four. Conclusion and analysis

Comprehensive price and various indicators, below the filling amount of 100g samples, "UNIQLO" and "snow flying" two down clothing comprehensive performance is good, suitable for early winter season. Among them, the overall performance of UNIQLO test results is better than that of "snow flying".

The reasons for brand selection were excellent. The four indexes, including cashmere content, fluffy content, fluffiness and anti fleece, all ranked first. The results were better, stuffing was goose down, and cost performance was high.

1. choose according to the need for warmth.

2. pay attention to the amount of cashmere and cashmere.

When choosing light and thin down garments, we should see clearly whether the labels indicate the factory name, factory site, cashmere content and filling quality. Try to choose products with more filling and more than 70% cashmere and dense fabrics. Such lightweight and down garments will be more warm.

3. pick down down clothes. When choosing, you can flush down the down garments to see if there is any phenomenon of drilling, especially stitching.

4. pick a down jacket with good elasticity. When the down jacket is pressed and released, the faster the springback speed is, the better the fluffiness of the down is and the higher the quality of the down.

5. use hand to pick up the stuffing of down jacket. The quality down jacket is soft. If you can touch a lot of rough and hard hair stems, it shows that the content of the feather is high and the quality is not very good.
