Near midnight, in the landmark Big Ben of London, people are calling the new year with the countdown.

When the New Year bell rings, fireworks from the "The London Eye" on the Thames river fly up to the sky, and people cheering and fireworks are intertwined.

In Trafalgar Square in downtown, people gathered under the tallest Christmas tree in England and watched the live broadcast of the fireworks display through the big screen.
