The comparative test samples were purchased randomly at the major shopping malls and supermarkets in Ji'nan, and 16 pieces of infant clothing were produced by 16 production enterprises in Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangdong, Shandong and Hongkong.
The Ji'nan product quality supervision and Inspection Institute was commissioned to conduct a comparative test on the 6 components of infant clothing national mandatory standards, including the composition content, formaldehyde content, pH value, odor, color fastness to rubbing and commodity identification, with a pass rate of 100%.
At the same time, the Ji'nan Municipal Council reminded consumers that although the results of this comparison test reached the national standard for the quality requirements of infant clothing products, it was only limited to some of the manufacturers' random sales in the market.
