The French national football team is brand new.

Jersey

It not only embodies French design details and elegance, but also combines the latest performance innovation.

This is also the most sustainable environmental Jersey developed by Nike in history.

In order to complete the design work better, Nike's

Designer

Extensive research has been carried out.

They went to France in person to communicate with the French Football Association, active and retired players, football youth athletes, football experts, fans, social scientists, fashion consultants and retailers.

Finally, Nike launched this set of traditional French style and excellent workmanship, to help players play the best level on the pitch.

Elegant design

The French team wore a deeper blue than the old Jersey.

This color ("meteor blue") contains rich French style and exquisite sense, which combines the bright blue and French navy blue on the French flag.

The complete Jersey embodies the classic Tri Color Combination of the French national team:

Blue jacket, white shorts, red socks.

The jacket is inspired by the thin collar that is popular now.

The bright and simple wind.

The front is a square collar designed with a slender cardigan.

A pearl button is concealed in the built-in side band to make the collar feel perfect.

The last detail of the collar part is the design of the inner collar. The vertical sideband has been deep into the collar, with a small star at the end, representing France's title in 1998.

A decorative sideband extends from the underarm of the Jersey to the hem, inspired by the classic striped swallow tailed coat.

In addition, the home tennis Jersey is also covered with industrial stripes.

The sleeves were specially extended, almost reaching the elbows, making the jacket modern.

The cuffs are wider in size and are derived from the classic cuff eversion of men's shirts.

The red lining is bright, highlighting the red color of the French tricolor, which represents the blood of Saint Denis and the symbol of courage and strength.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that the end of the left cuff of the Jersey has a hexagonal logo woven with texture, using the blue in the French tricolor flag.

This hexagon also symbolizes the shape of the French territory. The French call their motherland "L Hexagon" (meaning "hexagon").

Performance Technology

Complete outfit

Nike's Dri-FIT technology is adopted, and sweat can be evaporated quickly after being absorbed by fabric, so that players can keep dry and comfortable at all times.

The Jersey is made of innovative high tech, polyester cotton fabric made of waste plastic bottles and polyester cotton.

The Jersey made in this way has both the soft "handle" and the good performance of the cotton fabric.

In addition, Nike Dri-Fit technology allows sweat to absorb and evaporate quickly through fabric, which helps players keep dry at all times.

The innovative breathable area covers the back of the shirt to improve the air permeability of the uniform and let the players feel the moving air.

The Jersey has a double-sided knitted structure, with smooth lines and beautiful shape. It not only improves the elasticity of the Nike jerseys by 10%, but also fits the natural line of the players in the running process, and does not obstruct the movement of the air and players at the same time.

Even the most symbolic part of the Jersey, the logo of the French Football Association, has originality in design.

The new single layer logo is not embroidered on the shirt, but uses the thermal bonding technology.

This way of handling not only makes the logo extremely lightweight, but also reduces the damage of friction to players' skin.

Similarly, the inside of the Jersey also uses a "soft touch" lining, which is durable while avoiding skin abrasion as far as possible.

The shorts are ergonomically long and narrow in shape, and are 100% recyclable lightweight woven waterproof fabrics, which are very breathable and can give players the most comfortable feeling in humid climates.

From the waist of the pants to the part close to the coccyx, a breathable area is designed to ensure that the area with the most sweat on the body can feel dry.

Sustainability of environmental protection

As one of the contents of the "Better World" plan (www.nikebetterworld.com), Nike adheres to the purpose of "Considered Design" to reduce its environmental impact.

Specifically, it is to reduce or even eliminate toxic substances and waste in the process of product manufacturing, make more use of environment-friendly materials, and contribute more sustainable products to the future through Nike's innovation.

In order to fulfil this commitment, Nike used a polyester superfine fiber with completely waste plastic bottles when designing the new French team's jacket and shorts.

The Jersey was also added to the organic cotton material (containing 96% recycled polyester fiber and 4% pure cotton).

Plastic bottles are often discarded in landfills, but they can't be degraded naturally.

Nike's fabric suppliers collect waste plastic bottles from waste recycling centers in Japan and Taiwan, clean them up and remove all labels, then cut them into plastic sheets and melt them into yarn.

Nike is producing the French football jersey with the fabric spun with this yarn.

Compared with the production of unprocessed polyester fibers, this way not only takes advantage of valuable raw materials, but also reduces energy consumption by up to 30%.

The production of French uniforms and shorts from recycled polyester fibers is only in the initial stage of production. Nike has saved nearly 1 million 500 thousand plastic bottles in the landfill to avoid producing 36 thousand kilograms of polyester waste.

In addition, Nike used more than one ton of organic cotton in the production of the uniforms.

Of course, advocating environmental protection does not mean sacrificing the excellent performance of Nike jerseys.

The new French Jersey can give players a better competitive advantage than before.
