Decided to help Pakistan to provide tax concessions for a range of products imported from Pakistan, including textiles and clothing.
To achieve success, the European Union sought India's support for its proposal, and 75 kinds of textiles for Pakistan in three years.

The offer of preferential entry was strongly opposed by the India Textile Industry Federation (CITI), the highest Textile Organization in India.
Mr. Nair, Secretary General of the India Textile Industry Federation, said: "India should have the right to oppose this proposal. For many years, many countries, including India, have been hit by unfortunate incidents, but we have not been subjected to any such policy. Why can Pakistan get such a policy?"
Nair added: "the textile industry in India sympathized with the disaster caused by floods in early this year in Pakistan.
We appreciate the EU's stance on aid to Pakistan.
But we are concerned about the EU's choice of aid.
Through trade aid measures, the EU effectively pfers the burden of such assistance to other countries that export these products to the EU market, such as India.
Instead of absorbing additional imports from Pakistan, the entry of zero tariff will only be pferred from other countries, such as India's imports, to imports from Pakistan.
This has caused serious fairness problems.
Such a measure is obviously contrary to the most favored nation treatment.
