Four Ministries And Commissions Have Halted The Third Set Of Housing Provident Fund Loans To 50%

It is pointed out that some housing prices are too high or too fast. Some workers who pay for housing use the housing provident fund personal loans to purchase second or more apartments are not entirely used for self occupation, but do not comply with the provisions of the housing provident fund management regulations, which affect the mutual benefit and fair system of housing provident fund.


The circular pointed out that the use of housing provident fund personal housing loans to buy the first set of ordinary housing, the size of the building area of 90 square meters and below, the loan down payment ratio must not be less than 20%; the taxing building area of more than 90 square meters, the loan down payment ratio should not be less than 30%.


At the same time, the second housing provident fund personal housing loan object is limited to the existing per capita housing construction area less than the local average level of paid workers' families, and the loan purpose is only to purchase ordinary housing for improving living conditions.

The second set of housing provident fund personal housing loan first payment ratio must not be less than 50%, the loan interest rate must not be lower than the first set of housing provident fund personal housing loan interest rate 1.1 times.

The housing provident fund individual housing loan should be allocated to the employees who purchase third or more housing.


The notice emphasizes that the above measures not only reflect the mutual assistance and fairness of the housing provident fund system, but also reflect the differentiated housing credit policy.

Housing provident fund individual housing loans can only be used to pay workers to buy, build, rebuild, overhaul ordinary housing.

Strictly prohibit the use of housing provident fund personal housing loans for speculative purchase.
