Jiangdu: The National High Quality Leather Shoes Production Demonstration Area

The establishment of the national high quality leather shoes production demonstration zone is an effective way to enhance the development level of leather shoes industry and cultivate regional economic characteristics.

Since the founding of our city in April last year, we have adhered to government guidance, departmental linkage, enterprise initiative and social participation, conscientiously implemented the national standards for the establishment of high-quality product production demonstration zones, vigorously carried out special rectification and upgrading actions, focused on standardizing the quality management of enterprises, upgrading the quality level of products, and achieved initial results in their work.

Up to now, the city's 84 leather shoes manufacturing enterprises already have more than 40 brand names and quality marks at the municipal level.

Dong Lequn and his party listened to the report on the establishment of our city, inspected the production and operation situation of Yiling town shoemaking enterprises, and hoped that our city could control the country and the province to create requirements, further overcome the weak links, improve the long-term mechanism, actively carry out technical training, help enterprises to establish a quality management mode and quality assurance system, strengthen the quality control of leather shoes products, and give play to the role of the Provincial Rubber and plastic products quality supervision and inspection center, so as to provide technical support for product development and quality improvement of enterprises.

Ma Xiaoping said that our city will further intensify its efforts to speed up the progress, push forward the creation work and constantly enlarge the radiation driving role of the demonstration area, so as to make unremitting efforts to enhance regional economic strength and boost people's income and wealth.
