India Oil Company Starts 850 Thousand Ton / Year Ethylene Plant

The largest state-owned Oil Refinery Co, India oil company (IOC), is in Punjab.
Panipat
An ethylene plant with an annual output of 850 thousand tons has been established.
This factory adopts the latest patent technology of Ruth global company.
The plant started construction in March with a construction cost of 144 billion rupees.
The feedstock is naphtha, which will come from the mother and oil refineries of Pani Pat.
India oil company says the factory's operating rate is 50%.
By the first week of June 2010, India oil company plans to start downstream derivatives production.

These devices include 350 thousand tons / year linear low density polyethylene, 300 thousand tons / year high density polyethylene, 650 thousand tons / year polypropylene, and a 600 thousand ton / year terephthalic acid (PTA) factory.
